01Match the calendar

02Count every window

Loss is the INR cash flow hit, floored at zero. Favourable periods count as no loss.

03Take the percentile

The buffer is the selected percentile of that sample, default 95%. It is history, not a forecast.

INR proceeds fall when USD/INR falls. Favourable windows are zero.

Settlement
First RBI day on or after start + H calendar days

No interpolation. Window dropped if the match is more than 5 days late.
