India Strengthens Cybersecurity as Cyber Frauds Surge to 22.68 Lakh Cases
As per the Press Information Bureau’s (PIB) release on 8 October 2025, the Government of India has outlined a multi-layered strategy to curb cyber frauds and strengthen national cybersecurity under the Digital India initiative.
Over 86% of Indian households are now connected to the internet — a milestone that brings opportunity and responsibility in equal measure.
