New Delhi, Oct 4, 2025 – Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched youth-focused initiatives worth over ₹62,000 crore at the Kaushal Deekshant Samaroh in Vigyan Bhawan, marking a major boost to India’s education, skilling, and employment ecosystem. The new PM-SETU Yojana will upgrade 1,000 ITIs nationwide to align youth skills with global industry demands, while 1,200 vocational skill labs were inaugurated across schools to prepare students for future jobs.

  • The revamped Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme now offers interest-free education loans up to ₹4 lakh, while the Mukhyamantri Nishchay Yojana provides a ₹1,000 monthly allowance for 5 lakh youth each year with free skill training.
  • PM Modi also announced the ₹1 lakh crore PM Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana, aimed at creating 3.5 crore new jobs in the private sector, reaffirming that “India’s intellectual strength is its greatest power, and its youth are the engine of a Viksit Bharat.”
