Food processing sector gets ₹1.02 lakh crore boost at World Food India 2025

New Delhi, 28 Sept 2025 – World Food India 2025 concluded with investment commitments worth an unprecedented ₹1,02,046.89 crore, marking one of the largest-ever announcements in India’s food processing sector.

Key Highlights

  • 26 global & domestic players signed MoUs, including Reliance, Nestlé, Amul, Tata & Coca-Cola.
  • Commitments span across dairy, beverages, packaged foods, spices, edible oils, and ready-to-eat products.
  • Expected to generate 64,000+ direct jobs and 10 lakh+ indirect opportunities.
  • Investments spread across 20+ states, ensuring regional growth and farmer participation.
  • Organized by MoFPI, with Invest India as facilitation partner.
